Software to run a Part 61 flight training operation

Part 61 flight training software. FAR Part 61 governs the certification of pilots, flight instructors, and ground instructors. It is the flexible, instructor-led training path — independent CFIs, flying clubs, and small operators who train without an FAA-approved course outline.

Run a Part 61 operation on one platform

AviationAlley is built so a single operator can run an entire Part 61 operation from one system — not a scheduler plus a spreadsheet plus a generic accounting tool:

  • Aircraft, instructor, and student scheduling in one calendar.
  • Training records, endorsements, and experience tracking toward each certificate and rating.
  • Student progress and lesson history, kept audit-ready.
  • Billing for instruction, aircraft rental, and ground time.
Status: AviationAlley is in early access and rolling out Part by Part, with Part 142 the most complete. Request early access to shape the Part 61 module and lock founding pricing.

One platform, every Part

Start on Part 61 and grow into a Part 141 approved school or Part 142 training center on the same platform — no migration to a different system. AviationAlley spans Part 61, 91, 135, 141, 142, 145, and 147 — see all FAA Parts.

Part 61 software FAQ

Is AviationAlley available for Part 61 operations today?

AviationAlley is in early access. Part 61 scheduling, records, and billing are in active development; join the founding cohort to shape the Part 61 module and lock founding pricing.

Does it track endorsements and flight experience?

Yes — it is built to track endorsements, currency, and experience toward each Part 61 certificate and rating, so records are audit-ready instead of scattered across logbooks and spreadsheets.

Can a Part 61 operation move to Part 141 or 142 later?

That is the design goal: one platform across FAA Parts, so a Part 61 operation can add an approved Part 141 curriculum or a Part 142 training center without changing systems.
