Check Instructor Currency: Tracking TCE and APD Authority

Not every instructor can sign off a check ride, and authority is not permanent. Tracking it precisely is what keeps checks valid.

Authority is specific

A Training Center Evaluator (TCE) or APD is authorized for specific aircraft types and training events — not “everything.”

Currency is rolling

Recurrent training and currency events expire on a schedule. A TCE current last month may not be current today.

Enforce at scheduling time

The system should block scheduling a non-current evaluator on a check ride, not flag it after the fact.
