Leave it alone for a week

No washing for the first several days while the film and adhesive cure. Tell them what a little edge haze or moisture is — normal, and it clears.

Wash gently

Hand wash, no high-pressure right at the edges, no harsh chemicals. Set the expectation that PPF is durable, not indestructible.

Self-healing has limits

Light swirls self-heal with sun or warm water; deep cuts do not. Honest framing prevents a “the film failed” call.

Give them the warranty in writing
